You could eat these bad boys all day and you would only benefit. There are no calories, no cholesterol and no fat yet it is very high in protein. The only calories that will be in this are from the vegetables you decide to add.

Ingredients
  • 4 egg whites
  • Salt to taste
  • Spinach
  • Mushrooms
  • Tomato
  • Green onion
  • Celery
  • Every vegetable and spice is optional, and you could add other ones too!

Directions
  1. Lightly spray a muffin tray with PAM or any sort of spray like that.
  2. For each well in the tray add one egg white (you can do as many as you like but we'll just say you're making 4 in this case).
  3. Chop up as much of the vegetables you want and toss it in. For the harder vegetables like celery i would chop it up more or sauté them before hand so they can get soft.
  4. You can get creative and do a thin layer of egg whites, a layer of spinach, more of the egg white and then add your vegetables for visual affect.
  5. Once you're done this pop them in the oven (preheated to 350F) for 6-8 mins all depending on the doneness you prefer.
  6. Et viola! You're left with delicious and incredibly healthy snacks or breakfast side dishes instead of those hashbrowns

This sounds amazing...i can't wait to try it

AHHH they are so good with a little garlic powder or a pinch of curry if your into that sort of thing

Egg whites do have minimal calories though... the 4 in this recipe have 64 cals, .6 g of fat and 220 mg of sodium without any of the extra ingredients. Just a heads up!

Love this idea... can't wait to try this one! thanks for sharing.
