- 8 oz wide egg noodles shopping list
- 1 lb ground turkey shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 med onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 med green pepper, cut into small chunks shopping list
- 1 (4.5-oz) can sliced mushrooms shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1-1/2 Tbsp white sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 (15-oz) cans tomato sauce shopping list
- 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef, garlic, onion, green pepper, and mushrooms. Mix in salt and black pepper, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- In a greased 2 quart casserole dish, layer half of the cooked egg noodles, then half of the sauce mixture, followed by half of the grated cheese. Repeat.
- Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
