Grilled Ham Slices Recipe
Cooked ham basted with a zesty horseradish & brown sugar sauce. A great way to use up leftover ham.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup prepared horseradish
  • 2 large thick slices of ham

Directions
  1. This can be done on the barbecue or George Forman Grill. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate (or heat a George Forman Grill to high).
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, lemon juice and prepared horseradish.
  3. Heat the brown sugar mixture in the microwave on high heat for 1 minute or until warm.
  4. Score both sides of the ham slices.
  5. Place on the prepared grill.
  6. Baste continuously with the brown sugar mixture while grilling.
  7. Grill 6 to 8 minutes per side or to desired doneness (remember, the ham is already cooked, it just needs to be heated).
  8. The balance of the sauce can be used as a dipping sauce.

I am always looking for new ways to use my George Foreman Grill - thanks - this sounds great!!


You're welcome, I'm addicted to my Georgie, I "barbecue" with it in the winter when I can't get past the snow banks to use my regular outdoor barbecue. Canadian winters can be brutal. LOL
