Peanut Butter And Jelly French Toast Recipe
Very unique, very different, very impressive recipe for French Toast. With the combination of peanut butter, blueberry, honey, orange and peanuts going all into one dish, you can't go wrong. Yummers.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup blueberry preserves
  • 6 slices whole wheat bread divided
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup egg beaters
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon dry roasted unsalted peanuts chopped
  • 6 tablespoons vanilla yogurt

Directions
  1. Spread preserves evenly over 3 bread slices.
  2. Spread peanut butter evenly over remaining bread slices.
  3. Press preserves and peanut butter slices together to form 3 sandwiches.
  4. Cut each diagonally in half.
  5. In shallow bowl combine eggs and milk.
  6. In large nonstick griddle over medium high heat melt margarine.
  7. Dip each sandwich in egg mixture to coat then transfer to griddle.
  8. Cook sandwiches 2 minutes on each side or until golden then keep warm.
  9. In small bowl combine banana slices, honey, orange juice and peanuts.
  10. Arrange sandwiches on platter then top with banana mixture.
  11. Serve warm with a dollop of yogurt if desired.
