Lime Salad

This one has been around forever. I'm sure we have all had it over the years, but a classic none the less and one I felt compelled to share. I made it last night and it was a treat for our company. I love this delight and now you will too.
Ingredients
- 1 package lime gelatin shopping list
- 2 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 1 small can crushed pineapple shopping list
- 1 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 1 cup grated American cheese shopping list
- 1 small bottle maraschino cherries cut fine shopping list
- 1/2 cup pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Add enough water to the pineapple and sugar to make 2 cups.
- Heat then dissolve gelatin in mixture and allow cooling until partially set.
- Whip the cream and fold in the grated cheese.
- Add to the cold gelatin then fold in cherries and nuts.
- Chil until set.
