Broccoli Mushroom Dip Recipe
BROCCOLI MUSHROOM DIP This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Bennett Estate in Pilot Point Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups broccoli chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 pound mushrooms chopped
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 3/4 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Cook broccoli just until tender crisp about 3 minutes then drain and put under cold water.
  2. In nonstick skillet heat oil over medium heat then add garlic, onion and mushrooms.
  3. Cook until onion is tender then set aside.
  4. In blender combine cottage cheese and yogurt then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Process just until mixed then stir in broccoli mixture.
  6. Cover and refrigerate.
