This is my mom's cole slaw recipe. The only cole slaw in the world I actually like!

Ingredients
  • 1 head cabbage (good sized, nice and green)
  • 1 carrot (good sized)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (scant)
  • 3/4 cup sour cream or miracle whip
  • onion salt to taste (go easy)
  • celery seeds (to taste)

Directions
  1. Grate together cabbage and carrot on the large holes of a box grater (or you could easily use a food processor).
  2. Mix in all other ingredients.
  3. Refrigerate a couple of hours before serving to allow sauce time to develop.
