Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook spinach according to package directions.
  • Drain spinach very, very well using colander (and squeezing out any excess water with paper towels if you're in a hurry).
  • Combine spinach with all other ingredients.
  • Mix well.
  • Let sit in fridge for at least an hour to allow the soup mix to rehydrate and thicken.
  • Eat. (But try not to eat it all yourself. You will be tempted.)

Sounds great!!! Also, this recipe can be enjoyed by those who wish to use a low-salt flavoring packet. I'm definitely going to try this recipe tonight. Gotta get those Pita Chips out!!!

LOVE this dip, I use the same one, only, I add a T of chopped garlic, a block of cream cheese, and a dash of Worchestershire!

Follow the directions on the actual Knorr's package and add the scallions and water chestnuts. The freshness of the scallion and the cruch of the water chestnuts really make this dip. Also, up the sour cream to the full 16 oz. container. Tip: to get as much moisture from the spinach as possible, wrap in a clean, dark teatowel and wring it out in that.
