How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • In a large bowl, combine ground chuck and next 8 ingredients, mixing well.
  • In a small bowl, combine ketchup and mustard into meat mixture, reserving remaining ketchup mixture.
  • Press meat mixture into a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan or shape into a loaf and place on a rack or broiler pan. Spread remaining ketchup mixture over loaf.
  • Bake 40 minutes. Top with French fried onions; bake 10 minutes to 15 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink.

    This sounds like definite 5 to me. I dont usualy like trying out meatloafs but this sounds very tasty! can't wait to give it a go. Thanks for the recipe.

    Sounds very yummie, have to try this recipe on my husband, he a picky meatloaf person, but I like any myself. Sounds like a 5 to me.

    Sounds wonderful, I love the addition of bacon and grated cheese into the recipe. I love the topping of french onions I've never done that. Great ideas!
