How to make it

  • In pan, bring sugar, milk and butter to boil and cook for 1 minute
  • Remove from heat, add butterscotch chips, vanilla
  • Mix well
  • Ice cake, cookies or muffins

    Thanks Michelle. I re-worded the directions. You bring sugar, milk and butter to a boil then cook for 1 minute. Hope that makes it clear. Happy Cookin'! :)

    Would you cook the first three as in bring to a boil and stir for 1 minute? Sorry for asking but I want to be sure before I try this out. It sounds so different and good!

    Bookmarking this one for sure - husband's favorite is a cooked caramel frosting but this one sounds like it might also fill the bill. Thanks for sharing!
