Butter Pecan Chewies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 C butter

2 eggs

2 C firmly packed light brown sugar

1 t vanilla

1 1/2 C flour

2 t baking powder

1/2 t salt

1 C small pieces/chopped pecans

Directions

Beat eggs until light and foamy in a large bowl.

Beat in sugar, vanilla and butter until creamy.

Combine flour with baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Add to wet mixture and mix at low speed until blended well.

Stir in nuts at low speed (mixture will be stiff).

Spread evenly in a greased 9 X 13 inch pan and bake for 25 -30 minutes at 350 degrees or until top is light brown.

Cool 10 to 15 minutes before cutting into bars.

Picture will be added at another time. I have to make another batch to do that.

Yummy- gotta try these. I know what you mean about posting a photo later. I will bake something and my daughter has to be the one to take the picture since I don't know how to use the digital camera. We usually eat the stuff up before the kodak moment can happen. Jett
