How to make it

  • In shallow bowl, combine wet ingredients (except oil and marinara sauce)
  • In a nother shallow bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic salt, flour, and bread crubs
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 345 degrees
  • Gently dip shrimp in wet mixture; then dry
  • Carefully drop shrimp to the oil until crisp (2-3 minutes)
  • Repeat, working in batches
  • Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.

    Hi Sweetie--

    Just a question because I'm going to make your fried shrimp tonight--it seems like 1/2 cup oil isn't even going to cover the bottom of the pan. Is there something you need to tell me about the oil quantity?
