It happened to me that I bought a bunch of tasteless plums. However they looked really nice, so I thought I give them a try before I throw them out. That is how this granita was born.

Ingredients
  • 500 g plum
  • 2-3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions
  1. Cut plum in half, remove core and puree together with sugar and cinnamon. Freeze for 3-4 hours and serve.

Good for you!, that's how all good recipes begin...i love the cinnomon choice...i wonder if you were to bake the plums with all the ingredients for 30 minutes first then ice ithow much more intense the flavor would become...i think prune plums would be best for this....thanks for a new idea........frank
