Ingredients
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 1/2# of skinless,boneless thighs
  • 1 Tbs. cumin
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 midium onion,chopped
  • 1/4 cup walnuts,ground into a paste
  • 1 cup of pomegranate juice

Directions
  1. heat oil in a non stick skillet.
  2. brown chicken on both sides, transfer to a plate
  3. add spices and chopped onion and cook until softened
  4. return chicken to skillet and add walnut paste and juice
  5. simmer for 20 minutes,until cooked and sauce has reduced and thickened slightly
