My Uncle celebrated his 79th b-day today and his b-day request was for me to bake him a raisin pie. I'd never made one before and I used this recipe but added a top crust since he is used to having it that way. My Uncle loved the pie and hasn't stopped raving about it yet. I just had to share my success with your recipe with you and thank you for the post and for helping me grant my Uncle his b-day wish.
