How to make it

  • Roll the biscuits in a plastic bag with a rolling pin until very fine.
  • Mix well with the butter.
  • Press down in 2 madium greased tart baking tins
  • Place in fridge to set.
  • Beat the egg yolks well.
  • Beat in the condensed milk and lemon juice.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  • Fold into the condenced milk mixture.
  • Pour into crust.
  • Bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 350 deg F (180 deg C).
  • Beat the cream and serve with the cream.

    I wonder how the taste of this one is? It is a new technique adding beaten egg whites to such wonderfull mixture and bake them all..I think I will make this one soon as lemon tarts are favored for me.Why don't you send this one to Notyourmama..She was looking for a green colour recipe.

    Liezel this recipe really sounds good but I have a question. YOu say to bake it for 15 to 20 minutes but you didn't mention the oven temp. I figure I can guess but would really like to be sure. Thanks

    There's been a great Boobie! This recipe features twice! I think it is a blonde thing! This one and the lemon cream tart is exactly the same. Sorry guys!!
