Ingredients
  • 5 pounds of chicken thighs and wings (or legs) WITH THE SKIN
  • 8 TB salad or vegetable oil
  • 4 TB sugar
  • 4 TB sesame seeds
  • 1 1/3 cup of green scallions, chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup regular soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Directions
  1. Place the chicken in a large ziplock baggie.
  2. Combine the rest of the ingredents in a bowl and pour over the chicken in the bag.
  3. Seal bag and marinate overnight.
  4. Broil or barbecue the chicken until fully cooked.
  5. ( I like to sprinkle the chicken with scallions and sesame seeds before serving.)
  6. Serve with cooked rice and a nice green salad.
