How to make it

  • In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside. Drain all but 2-3 Tbsp of drippings, add onion and cook until tender. Stir in flour blending well. Add vinegar and water. Cook and stir until bubbly and makes a gravy. Crumble bacon and stir into gravy. Then add potatoes, stirring lightly to coat potato slices. Heat thoroughly. Serve warm.
