This is a easy apple cake recipe that everyone loves.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups Rome Beauty apples, peeled, sliced thin
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions
  1. In large bowl, crack eggs over apples and stir to coat.
  2. add salad oil. stir to coat.
  3. Sift together dry ingredients except walnuts.
  4. Add to apples in small batches.
  5. Stir only enough to moisten each time.
  6. Add walnuts.
  7. Bake in floured & greased 9" x 13" baking pan for one hour at 350 degrees.
  8. Serve w/whipped cream. yummy!!!
