CRUNCHY POTATO WEDGES Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 large baking potatoes
  • 4 oz. butter, melted
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • salt to taste 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 oz. cornflakes, crushed

Directions
  1. heat oven gas marked 6
  2. lightly grease a baking sheet
  3. cut each peeled potato into quarters and then in half again to give 8 wedges
  4. mix melted butter with garlic.
  5. in a bowl combine salt, paprika and crushed cornflakes
  6. dip potato wedges first in butter then coat all over in crushed cornfllakes
  7. place on baking sheet and cook in oven for 55 minutes until tender, serve hot.
  8. These are good served with roast meats or grilled steaks, fish or sausages.
