Caramel Frosting

- 3/4 stick butter shopping list
- 1 - 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (I like dark brown) shopping list
- 1/4+ cup milk shopping list
- 1/2-3/4 box 10X sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Put butter in pan on top of stove.
- Add about 1, up to 1 1/2 cups brown sugar.
- Use low to medium low heat.
- After it melts, stir in 1/4 cup milk.
- Bring to a hard boil and let it boil 1 minute or up to 2 minutes but NO LONGER or it will set up too hard.
- Take off heat and pour over about 1/2 up to 3/4 box (1 pound box) of 10X sugar.
- Beat well.
- Beat in 1 tsp vanilla.
- If too thick, add more milk.

I NEED A GOOD CARMEL FROSTING RECIPE - I ONLY MADE IT ONE TIME BUT CAN'T REMEMBER WHERE I GOT THE RECIPE - ANYWAY THIS ONE SOUNDED THE CLOSEST
