Emperial Chop Suey

- 2. chicken breast --cut into strips shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tsp. soy sauce shopping list
- 2 T. cooking oil shopping list
- 2. garlic cloves--crushed shopping list
- 1. medium onion..chopped shopping list
- 1C.green fresh string beans--blanch shopping list
- 1. medium carrot--sliced shopping list
- 2. stalks celery--cut 1/4" diagonal shopping list
- 11/2 C. cabbage--shredded shopping list
- 2 T. cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tsp. boullion chicken shopping list
- 1/2 tspl. sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. soy sauce shopping list
- 1 C. water shopping list
- garnish with cilantro about 1 T per serving shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in a frying pan
- - Saute the garlic until golden about 1 minute.
- - Add onion cook until soft
- - Add chicken and cook about 5 minutes in med heat
- - Add vegetables saute for 5 minutes
- - Add half of the water
- - The other half of the water mix with cornstarch add it
- to the pan
- - Add bouillon, sugar and soy sauce and bring to boil
- - Reduce the heat, cover and simmer until vegatables
- are cooked..
- - Garnish with cilantro
- You can make it with beef, shrimp or pork
- Hey add other vegetables make it your own.
- Serve with steamed rice or udon (thick noodles).
