This is my Mom's recipe. We ate this often growing up.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion
  • sliced dill pickles
  • 1 can cream of tomato soup
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce

Directions
  1. Preheat oven 375*
  2. Make ground beef into 12 patties. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place onion slice on each of 6 patties. Evenly divide dill pickles over onion slices.
  3. Top each pattie with one of the remaining 6 patties. Press edges together to seal.
  4. Place in baking dish.
  5. Combine tomato soup with worcestershire sauce and spoon over meat.
  6. Bake 40-45 minutes.
