Wonderful Chocolate Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1-1/2 cups butter

1-cup sugar

2/3-cups light brown sugar

2-tsp vanilla extract

2-cups (all purpose) flour

3/4-cups (unsweetned) cocoa

1-tsp baking soda

1/2-tsp salt

May add: 1-2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1/2-cup any kind of chopped nuts

Directions

Cream together butter and sugars

Add eggs, one at a time, make sure to beat well after each additon

Add vanilla

In another bowel combine: dry ingredients

Gradually add to creamed mixture

Drop of teaspoonful onto baking sheets

(I find it easier to make balls out of the dough instead of using a measured teaspoon or tool)

Bake: 350 degrees for at least 10 mins in an electric oven, might be only 8 mins in a gas stove

Yields about: 4 dozen

Keep covered and your cookies will last longer & be chewier
