Interesting Burgers Recipe

It turned out GREAT and my kids LOVED it too! Enjoy! (You can also grill these, but right now it is about 30 degrees here, so I did 'em the old fashioned frying way.)... Ingredients

1 lb ground round (or your fav burger meat)

Approx 15 Crimini (baby Portabella) mushrooms, chopped

4 tsp honey mustard

4 or 5 slices of cheese (swiss, american, cheddar...whatever - I made 2 with swiss and 3 with american)

a "pinch" of Kosher salt

Directions

Sprinkle the salt in a medium frying pan and place on med heat.

In a small bowl, mix the meat, mustard and mushrooms.

Form the meat into patties (I made 5) and place them into pan to cook.

Lower heat a bit so burgers don't burn.

When they are about done to your liking, add the cheese on top and cover for approx 2-3 minutes (or until cheese is melted).

Serve and enjoy!
