Quiche - Your Choice Of Flavors

- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese shopping list
- 1 T. flour shopping list
- 1/4 t. nutmeg shopping list
- 1/4 t. pepper shopping list
- 1/2 t. salt shopping list
- 1 deep dish 9" pie shell (frozen) shopping list
- ****************************************************** shopping list
- Suggested added ingredients: shopping list
- 1/2 cup sliced leeks, cut finely and sautéed in butter shopping list
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms chopped and sautéed in butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup onions chopped and sliced finely sautéed in butter shopping list
- 1 cup asparagus cut in 1" pieces and steamed briefly for 4 minutes shopping list
- 1 cup broccoli florets shopping list
- bacon, ham, etc. shopping list
How to make it
- Prick with fork before baking after letting pie shell thaw for 15 minutes.
- Bake pie shell at 450 degrees according to package directions for 10-15 minutes.
- Turn oven down to 350 degrees for baking quiche
- Mix flour with shredded cheese and put into pie shell.
- Add whatever other ingredients you want in the quiche (suggested ingredients above).
- Mix eggs, milk, seasonings together and pour into baked pie shell.
- Place pie pan on baking sheet and bake in the center of the oven for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean.
