I am so glad you liked it. I got this from a professor I work with and she brought 2 different quiches with her to a baby shower that I attended - the aspargus and one with just cheeses. I loved both of them! and she was gracious enough to share her recipe with me.

I used your recipe this morning for breakfast! It is a wonderful basic recipe with so much potential for variety. I had a refrigerated crust, which I rolled out a little more to fit my deep dish 10 inch pie dish (I have shallow 9 inch and deep dish 10 inch). I didn't have swiss, so used grated sharp cheddar. I covered the cheese with a little frozen chopped broccoli I had cooked in the microwave 5 minutes then chopped up. Over that I cut up 4 slices of precooked bacon, and then 1 green onion, green and white parts. It was great. My 84 year old mother, who can't remember ever eating quiche (but I think she has) thought it was delicious. Thanks for posting this basic method that lends itself to whatever is on hand! I love it!
