this is a great and simple dessert recipe, good for pot lucks for work, and is eaten with graham crackers

Ingredients
  • 1 package 8oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 c butter (1 stick-no substitutions)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c confectioners sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3/4 c miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c finely chopped pecans
  • graham crackers

Directions
  1. In a medium size mixing bowl, beat crean cheese, butter, and vanilla until fluffy.
  2. Gradually add confectioners and brown sugar, beat just until combined.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips, cover and refridgerate 2 hours.
  4. Place cream cheese mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap and shape into a ball. Refridgerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Just before serving, roll in pecans.
  6. Serve with graham crackers.
