Disappearing Butterscotch Chocolate Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions
  1. In heavy pan on stove, melt over medium heat the butterscotch chips and butter
  2. Stir constantly until melted
  3. Cool to lukewarm
  4. In large bowl, combine flour brown sugar, baking powder, salt
  5. Add the melted butterscotch chip/butter mixture
  6. Add the beaten eggs
  7. Mix thoroughly
  8. Fold marshmallows, chocolate chips, and nuts into all
  9. Spread into a greased 9 X 13 baking dish or pan
  10. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes
  11. Don't overcook
  12. Center will be jiggly, but firm when cool
  13. Cut into bars
