Hazelnut Cake Recipe
This is a great cake. Everyone will think you spent hours baking.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups cleaned hazelnuts
  • 1 can sweatened condensed milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 3/4lt whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • Two 20cm greased and dusted with flour pans

Directions
  1. In the blender put condensed milk,eggs and hazelnut. Blend untilthe hazelnuts are ground very fine.
  2. Pour into the pans.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°until a tooth pick comes out clean.
  4. While the cake is baking prepare the cream. In a mixer put the cream with the sugar. Whip until hard peaks form. Add the sifted cocoa and mix.Refrigerate.
  5. When the cake comes out turn it on a rack and let it cool completly.
  6. Put some of the chocolate cream on the top of one cake.Put the othe cake on the top and cover with the rest of the cream.
  7. Refrigerate for a while before serving.
  8. You can also make the cake with walnuts or almonds.

Am I missing something? Where's the flour? Your cake is made up of hazelnuts, milk, and eggs! Does this make a cake? One more question. How can you receive two 5-fork ratings when there is an ingredient missing?

If hazelnuts, milk, and eggs make a cake batter, I need someone to explain it to me. I'm sincerely stupified.


Pointseven-out, you need to chill-out! ;-) Not all cakes have flour, like Flourless Chocolate Cakes. Some cakes just call for ground nuts as the "flour". It does make a much denser cake.
