Raspberry Or Apricot Shortbread Cookies

- 1 cup butter, sogtened (no substitutes) shopping list
- 2/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp alomond extract shopping list
- 2 cups all- purpose flour shopping list
- 1/3-1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam or apricot jam shopping list
- glaze shopping list
- 1 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 2-3 tsp water shopping list
- 1/2 tsp alomd extract shopping list
How to make it
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar
- beat in extract; gradually add flour until dough forms a ball
- cover and refrigerrate for 1 hour until easy to handle
- roll into 1 inch balls
- place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets
- using the end of a wooden spoon handle, make an indentation in the center
- Fill with jam
- bake at 350 degrees for 14- 18 mins or until edges are lightly browed
- Remove to wire racks to cool
- spoon additional into cookies if derired
- combine glaze ingredients and dizzle over cookies
