Muesli

- 1 cup (500g) orlled oats shopping list
- 1 cup bran flakes shopping list
- 1 cup hazelnuts, choopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup dried coconut shopping list
- 1/2 cupsunflower seeds, shelled shopping list
- 3/4 cup honey shopping list
- 2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 cup prunes, chopped shopping list
- 3/4 cup dried apricots, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup raisins shopping list
- 1/2 cup dried currants shopping list
- 1/2 cup veg etable or sunflower oil shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375F, 180C, Gas Mark 4 1/2
- Spread oats, bran flakes, almonds, sunflower seeds and hazlenuts in a large roasting pan and bake for 15minutes, stirring every 5 minutes
- Add coconut and bake for another 5 minutes
- Stir
- Mix honey, oil and cinnamon in a mixing bowl
- Add to baking mixture and stir well
- Bake for a further 5 - 10 minutes, stirring once
- Cool mixture for 15 minutes before adding dried fruit
- Cool to room temperature
- Store in an airtight container

Thanks Tippy, this sounds so good. I love to see recipes using honey as sweetener. We buy honey 5 gal. at a time from a local bee keeper. this is a good one and you have my 5!
