How to make it

  • Blend the shallots, garlic, fresh root ginger and black pepper to a fine mixture.
  • Heat oil in a large saucepan and fry in the blended mixture until fragrant.
  • Add water and soup spices. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add in seafoods and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Finally add in vegetables and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • Discard the soup spices.
  • In another large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add noodles and bring to a boil until the noodles are tender. Drain well and tip into a warm serving bowl.
  • To serve, put some noodles into a bowl and pour some of the vegetable seafood soup.

    This looks so tasty and healthy too! Will definitely try this out, probably with some rice noodles since the egg ones bother my stomach... great post!
