How to make it

  • Mix all ingredients for the cake. I use about 11 or 12 good size strawberries.
  • Cut the strawberries in small pieces.
  • Bake in a well greased 9*13 pan for 30-35 minutes.
  • While the cake is still hot, poke holes in the cake and pour some of the strawberry juice over it.
  • To mix icing:
  • Soften margarine in the microwave.
  • Add to sugar, and mix at medium-high speed with a hand mixer.
  • Gradually add some of the strawberry juice until you get the right icing consistency.
  • Mash up about 5 or 6 strawberries and add this to the icing, then mix well.
  • Ice cake and enjoy!!!
