SNICKERDOODLES

A good simple cookie recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Cream shortening and 1 1/2 cups of sugar. Add eggs; beat until fluffy.
- Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; mix well.
- Roll dough into small balls.
- Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon together.
- Roll balls into cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Place balls on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Cookies will puff up at first, then flatten out with crinkled tops when cooled.
