Yeah, i did the same - always looking for new crostini and blue cheese recipes - i can smell,feel, taste this already - and i have LOTS of walnuts from trees in my area just waiting to be used! got vacuumized cranberries in the larder, blue cheese in the fridge - and i'll get the baguette tomorrow morning. what a great evening this is going to be! yippeeeh!

My grocery bill is going to be through the ceiling this week ... lol. So many savoury things with cheese. This sounds delicious. The walnut oil must make this taste incredibly earthy. I'd love to try this with some nice roasted portobellos.
