The High J M Ranch Meat Loaf

- 2 Pounds of ground round shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 and 1/2 cups Whole Wheat bagel,soft, grated on hand grater shopping list
- 1 Cup hot water shopping list
- 1 beef boullion cube,dissolve in the water shopping list
- 1/2 Cup finely chopped celery shopping list
- 1/2 Cup finely chopped green onion,with tops shopping list
- 1/2 Cup Grated carrot shopping list
- 1 Cup Grated cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaf,Crushed in hand to release the flavor shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaf, Crushed in hand to release the flavor shopping list
- 1 Pinch of nutmeg(makes the ground round have a Fresh flavor) shopping list
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard shopping list
- 1/4 Cup ketchup shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the beaten egg,pepper,basil,thyme,ketchup,mustard,bagel crumbs together in large bowl.
- Pour the dissolved boullion cube into bowl
- Mix in the ground round,celery,onion,carrot,cheese,mixing lightly
- Place in a oval casserole dish
- Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Drain the Liquid that forms.
- Let set about 10 minutes to allow the juices to go back to the center of the meat loaf.
- Slice,serve
- Note: may need to use less salt,because the celery has a lot of sodium,along with the bagel,cheese,ketchup and boullion cube.
