Easy cream of broccoli soup recipe from my son-in-law's mother.

Ingredients
  • 20 ounces frozen chopped broccoli
  • 3 Tbsp minced onion
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz cubed Velveeta cheese

Directions
  1. Cook the broccoli to the desired doneness by your preferred method (I microwave mine).
  2. In a medium saucepan, stir together the broccoli, onion, mushroom soup, milk and butter.
  3. Simmer about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the cubed cheese and stir it in as it melts.
  5. Serve immediately.

My FAVORITE soup!! As a matter of fact, I had steamed some broccoli today and added it to some creamy broccoli soup!! I like to add some nacho cheese sauce to the soup. Gives it a little kick!
