How to make it

  • Preheat Oven to 400 degrees
  • Form 8 Tapered footballs from Kefta.
  • Steam or Blanch quartered potatoes for 5 minutes
  • Arrange Kefta, Onions, and Potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  • Brown for 20 minutes turning Kefta once.
  • Make Tahini Sauce:
  • Crush Garlic in Salt. Add to Tahini.
  • Slowly stir water into Tahini. It will become pasty and white then thinner. Add Lemon Juice and slowly wisk until smooth.
  • Poor Tahini sauce over browned casserole. Bake 20 minutes longer until sauce is thick and bubbly
  • Serve Hot with Greek Olives and Arabic Bread
