How to make it

  • In a heavy dutch oven, heat the oil over medium heat.
  • Saute the onion, garlic, pepper, and chorizo until cooked and soft, about 5 mins.
  • Add the two beans and broth.
  • Bring to a boil on low for 30-45 mins until beans and broth get a little thick.
  • Add the lime juice and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with Cilantro.
  • Optional: Top with Grated cheddar cheese

    Note: You can make the flavor more intense by adding some bee bullion to the stock. Of course this is true of any soup or stew.
