Lemon Grass Prawn Toast

- 1 lb of peeled, raw prawns shopping list
- 4 springs of onions, chopped shopping list
- 1 stalk of lemon grass, cleaned and crushed shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 tbsp of fresh chopped cilantros shopping list
- 1 tbsp fish sauce shopping list
- 2 tsp of sweet thai chilli sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp of lemon juice shopping list
- 1 tbsp cornstarch shopping list
- 8 slices of stale bread, cut into quarters and then diagonally into triangles shopping list
- oil for shallow frying shopping list
How to make it
- Add prawns, onions, lemongrass, egg, oil, cilantros, fish and chilli sauces, lemon juice and cornstarch to a food processor and process until paste is smooth.
- Spread prawn toast on each triangle.
- Heat 2 cm of oil in a pan. When oil is hot, boils when you place a wooden chopstick in, add prawn toast face down in oil.
- Cook for 2 minutes and turn once. Cook until golden and drain on paper towel.
