If you want a taste of Jolly Olde England, try a fry-up! You can eat a fry-up any time of the day (called an "All Day Breakfast" ). They even put it in a can and you can get it in the supermarket! If you want an artery-clogger, eat this!

Ingredients
  • 1 can "baked" beans (pork and beans, actually)
  • 1 small tomato, quartered
  • 2 large mushrooms, each cut in half
  • 4 links of sausage (large links, lightly seasoned)
  • 2 slices of black pudding* (Optional)
  • 2 slices of toasted white sandwich bread, each slice cut diagonally
  • 4 thin slices of ham for frying
  • 2 eggs
  • Butter for frying
  • *Black pudding recipe posted separately. Be prepared!

Directions
  1. Heat beans in a sauce pan and keep warm
  2. Fry sausage and ham with a knob of butterand put 2 links and 2 ham slices on each plate
  3. Fry tomato quarters until browned and put 2 quarters on each plate
  4. Fry mushroom halves in same frying pan and put 2 halves on each plate
  5. Fry black pudding slices and put one slice on each plate
  6. Add more butter to the frying pan and fry eggs, sunny side up with runny yolks, put one on each plate
  7. Put 2 large spoons of warm beans on each plate
  8. Serve with cold, buttered toast and orange marmalade
  9. The beverage of choice for an authentic English fry-up is a mug of hot tea with milk (milky tea) or milky coffee, along with a small glass of orange juice
  10. Cheerio!
