REAL Caesar Dressing

This is what a real caesar dressing should taste like. It should have an anchovy base rather than a mayo base! Delicious!
Ingredients
- 2 egg yolk shopping list
- 2 tbl Dijon mustard shopping list
- 6 to 8 anchovy fillets, minced shopping list
- 2 tbl chopped garlic shopping list
- 4 tbl balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 3 tsp lemon juice shopping list
- dash of worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 cups olive oil shopping list
- 2 tbl warm water, if necessary shopping list
- 1 cup parmesan shopping list
How to make it
- Place egg yolk, mustard, anchovies, garlic, vinegar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce into a bowl.
- Mix with whisk
- Slowly add olive oil until fully incorporated
- If dressing gets too thick, add warm water and then continue until all oil is added
- Add parmesan and continue to mix
- Makes 1 1/2 cups

Tried this dressing and found it to be absolutely delicious...Will very likely be my dressing whenever I have a Caesar salad...Like the fact that thee is no mayo used as well...I gave it a five!!

This recipe was excellent. I'm not big on anchovy so I omitted it from the recipe and it was still delicious!
