Onion And Herb Couscous

- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine shopping list
- 3 gloves garlic, chopped shopping list
- 2 onions, finely chopped shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 teaspoon thyme shopping list
- 1 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1 cup of couscous shopping list
- 1 cup of chicken stock shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- In pan, melt butter over medium heat. Fry garlic and onions, stirring occasionally. Season with salt, pepper, thyme and oregano. Fry until softened, about 4/5 minutes.
- In a pot bring chicken stock to boil. When boiling stir in couscous (and if desired olive oil). Cover and remove from heat immediately. Let stand 5 minutes.
- Add the onions and garlic to the couscous, stir to combine. Fluff with folk.
- Serve immediately.
