Ingredients
  • 2 LB. POTATOES
  • 1 TBSP VEGETABLE OIL
  • 1 ONION, CHOPPED
  • 1 CRUSHED CLOVE OF GARLIC
  • 1 LB LEAN MINCED BEEF
  • 1 SEEDED RED PEPPER HALVED AND SLICED
  • 1 TBSP GLOUR
  • 8 OZ OF BEEF STOCK
  • 1 TBSP OF CHOPPED PARSLEY
  • SALT AND PEPPER
  • 3 TBSP MILK
  • KNOB OF BUTTER
  • 3 OZ CHEDDA R CHEESE GRATED.

Directions
  1. CUT POTATOES INTO EVEN SIZE PIECES, PUT IN SALTED BOILING WATER AND COOK UNTIL TENDER. DRAIN WELL
  2. MEANTIME HEAT OIL IN LAARGE PAN AND FRY ONIONS FOR 3 MINUTES
  3. ADD GARLIC AN D MINCE AND PEPPER AND COOK STIRRING FOR 5 MINUTES. STIR IN THE FLOUR ANND ADD STOCK AND BTING TO BOIL STIRRING ALL THE WHILE, ADD
  4. PARSLEY AND SEASONING
  5. MASH POTATOES AND MIX WITH MILK AND BUTTER. SEASON
  6. SPOON MEAT INTO OVENPROOF DISH AND TOP WITH POTATO, SPRINKLE WITH CHEESE.
  7. BAKE FOR 30 MINUTES IN OVEN AT 200 DEGREES C/
  8. TIPS. MIX THE GRATED CHEESE WITH BREADCRUMBS FOR AN EXTRA CRUNCHY TOPPIING..
