Loaded French Bread Pizza

- 1 loaf French bread shopping list
- 1 can (8-oz.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained shopping list
- 1/4 cup each chopped green pepper, sweet red pepper, ripe olives, white onions and red onions. 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil, divided shopping list
- 1/2 lb. extra lean ground beef shopping list
- 1/4 lb. bulk sausage shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 1 can (8-oz.) tomato sauce shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley shopping list
- 4 tsp. italian seasoning shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 27 pepperoni slices shopping list
- 2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend shopping list
- 1/4 cup shape cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 400*F.
- In a large skillet, sauté the mushrooms, peppers, olives, onions and garlic in 1 Tbsp. oil until tender, remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet cook beef and sausage over medium heat until no longer pink, drain.
- Cut the French bread in half lengthwise
- In a small bowl combine the tomato sauce, parsley, Italian seasoning and pepper, spread over each half of the bread.
- Top with the vegetables, meat mixture and pepperoni.
- Sprinkle with cheeses.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheeses has melted.
- Cut each half of French bread in 4 pieces

Great post! I love french bread pizza! When I was younger my mom and I used to do it all the time. We always used a jar sauce, but always loaded it with stuff!
