Ingredients

How to make it

  • melt butter in medium sauce pan on medium-high
  • add garlic salt
  • sautee onions until softened
  • add mushrooms (optional) and canadian bacon
  • sautee about 2 minutes
  • add chicken broth, potatoes and pepper
  • turn heat up to high and bring to a boil
  • cover and reduce heat to low
  • simmer until potatoes are very tender, about 15 minutes
  • add half and half
  • turn heat up to medium and warm through, about 2 minutes
