Steak Rolls Recipe
These are stuffed steak rolls and are oh so delicious.

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs top round or strip steak
  • 1 cp fine bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp basil
  • 1 cp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbs finely chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cp finely chopped yellow onion
  • 1 cp parmesean cheese
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cp shredded carrot
  • 1/2 cp finely chopped celery
  • 8 slices thick bacon
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with juice (can use theones that contain chilis for a great taste)
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil for frying

Directions
  1. cut each steak into four equal pieces
  2. pound with mallet until very thin
  3. sprinkle with salt and pepper
  4. combine all dry ingredients
  5. add tomatoes and mix well
  6. let sit a few minutes so juices are absorbed
  7. Place 1/2 cup of bread mixture in center of each steak piece.
  8. roll up tucking in ends.
  9. wrap each roll in one strip of bacon and secure with tooth picks
  10. Gently brown in olive oil
  11. Place in casserole dish cover and bake in a 325 oven for about 1 1/2 hr or untill every thing is tender and juicy. Serve with steemed rice and fresh broccoli. Yummy!
