- 6 OZ flour shopping list
- 4 OZ. golden syrup shopping list
- 2 OZ. BROWN DUGAR shopping list
- 2 OZ butter 1 OZ. dried fruit OR PEEL shopping list
- 1/4 TEASPOON OF bicarbonate of soda shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/4 GILL OF milk shopping list
How to make it
- MIX FLOUR, FRUIT, GINGER AND BICARBONATE OF SODA IN A BOWL.
- PUT THE SUGAR, SYRUP AND BUTTER IN A PAN ON THE STOVE AND DISSOLVE GENTLY.
- MAKE A WELL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FLOUR MIXTURE AND STIR IN THE SYRUP MIXTURE UNTIL THE FLOUR IS MIXED INTO A THICK BATTER.
- THEB POUR IN AND MIX UP 1 BEATEN EGG.
- WHEN WELL MIXED SPOON INTO A WELL GREASED TIN AND ALLOW TO COOK FOR 1 HOUR AT GAS MARK 6.
