I had to add more butter to make the dough manageable. In the end, for me these are too plain.

I made these Vanilla Cookies and they are delicious. I modified the recipe slightly by adding an additional 1/4 cup of flour and put in a 10 oz. jar of Baker brand date filling and 1/4 cup plus of sunflower seeds right into the mix. I cut the sugar in half and the end result was a perfectly delicious, nutty, yummy snack cookie just perfect for my taste. I can't thank you enough for this great recipe that is so easy, versatile and satisfying!
