Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix all burger ingredients together. If possible, allow to sit in refrigerator for 2-24 hours to allow the flavors to blend together.
  • Form the meat into 4 patties
  • Heat the grill and cook until the burgers reach an internal temperature of 165-170 degrees.
  • Toast buns and serve with your favorite accompaniments (cheese, sliced tomato, cucumber, lettuce, red onion, plain yogurt, etc)
  • These can also be prepared on the stove top. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a hot pan. Add the patties to the pan once the oil is hot. Cook until each side is brown and the burgers reach an internal temperature of 165-170 degrees.

Loved it loved it!!! My mom and I made the recipe when I went to visit her- we had to use ground turkey since the store we went to didn't have any ground chicken at the moment, but still FABULOUS! Thanks!

Oh, one more thing, they freeze very well. We often double up the batch so we have some in our freezer.

I just finished eating one, they are =)

One suggestion that I forgot to mention, once the patties have been formed, let them chill in the fridge for a while. The mixture is very soft, for lack of a better term, and difficult to transfer to the grill.
