Garden Chicken Burgers

- 1 lb ground lean chicken shopping list
- ½ cup finely grated zucchini shopping list
- ½ cup finely grated carrot shopping list
- 4 chopped scallions, white and green parts shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander shopping list
- 1 ½ teaspoons ground sea salt shopping list
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste shopping list
- ¼ cup chopped parsley shopping list
- 4 whole wheat buns shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all burger ingredients together. If possible, allow to sit in refrigerator for 2-24 hours to allow the flavors to blend together.
- Form the meat into 4 patties
- Heat the grill and cook until the burgers reach an internal temperature of 165-170 degrees.
- Toast buns and serve with your favorite accompaniments (cheese, sliced tomato, cucumber, lettuce, red onion, plain yogurt, etc)
- These can also be prepared on the stove top. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a hot pan. Add the patties to the pan once the oil is hot. Cook until each side is brown and the burgers reach an internal temperature of 165-170 degrees.

Loved it loved it!!! My mom and I made the recipe when I went to visit her- we had to use ground turkey since the store we went to didn't have any ground chicken at the moment, but still FABULOUS! Thanks!
